If not, what are you waiting for? Spring’s here! Yay!
I got my 126p out today. Had it inspected, washed and filled with tasty petrol. Seems to be working like a swiss watch so far, fingers crossed!

Haha. I don’t own one.

I’ll have to ask my butler to fetch it from the livery stables, post haste! I’ve been in the Hamptons for the past few weeks and haven’t given much thought to the notion, instead suffering through my other vehicles! Thanks for the reminder, my good man! /s

I’m waiting to rip the motor out and replace the freeze plugs
I also have lots of sads
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:43 |

Haha. Get one. ASAP. RWD 4runners aren’t everything!
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:43 |

Mine never got put away. I put snow tires on it and drifted all winter.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:44 |

You need a new butler. Mine knew when to get all of that sorted by himself!

Meanwhile in “Michigan Spring”

How much does it cost to hire somebody to walk behind a car and sweep up all the rust?
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:45 |

My daily driver and fun car are one and the same... for now.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:46 |

I don’t have a Fiat, so it’s not necessary.

Gotta diversify your assets, mate!
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:46 |

What is this spring you speak of?
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:47 |

In progress. First drive around the block happened the other day, then changed a few oil seals and have been cleaning the engine bay on and off throughout the week. Need to get it registered and take the storage wheels off and she’ll be ready for Cars & Coffee and an Oppo review.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:47 |

Quit rubbing it in! :’(

I’m waiting to save up the money to have the frame welded back together.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:48 |
|
Nice!
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:48 |
|
No. Hasn’t been since 2002.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:49 |
|
Mine is was
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:49 |
|
I hope it’s not a Morgan then. Welding the frame on one of those would take a smarter man than I am.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:49 |
|
Hey, you started it.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:49 |
|
Hasn’t been in storage or hasn’t been fun since 2002?
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:50 |
|
No, because blizzard today. The Cougar is safely tucked into the garage. 72 degrees yesterday, 16" of snow today.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:50 |
|
You need to remind whoever’s in charge of the weather what spring means. A letter of complaint is in order perhaps?
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:51 |
|
You need to file a complaint with whoever’s in charge of the weather in your area!
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:51 |
|
Right ! And it was 55 and sunny yesterday!
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:53 |
|
Storage?? Like not drive/ride whenever I feel like it? No sir, I take the bike out of the garage any day I want. /what the hell is snow?
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:54 |
|
I’m a moron though, what’s your excuse? :(
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:55 |
|
Same here with my Miata in the garage and the GTX getting snow duty.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:56 |
|
I’m opportunistic.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:56 |

The Saab convertible has been out for a few weeks, but the Land Rover is still in the shop.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:56 |
|
It’s a first gen Honda CRX. But wouldn’t welding a Morgan frame just call for a hammer and nails?
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:58 |
|
Not sure a hammer and nails still constitutes ‘welding’ though.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 16:58 |
|
nope, My lifted jeep TJ on 35s still has snow half way up the doors.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:00 |
|
Yuuup, M3 is out but still on snow tires. Waiting for the ol tax return so I can get some new rubber on the summer wheels.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:03 |
|
I took mine out in the blizzard :D
no winter car no more, only the fun car with snow tyres
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:04 |
|
Ewww. I’ll stick to being a moron, thank you.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:05 |
|
Spring is not here. I took the winter tires of my truck, went out and bought a 924 (gotta get around to pics and posting that...) and then today it decides to snow like mad.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:05 |
|
Has been out of storage since 2002.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:06 |

I thought I had it bad. My “fun” car has been out of commission since 2006, with maybe a handful of appearances through the years at most.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:06 |
|
No, because second winter arrived.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:06 |
|
Considering I bought my M3 yesterday, yes. That being said it’ll probably go in my garage for a couple of weeks if I ever can convince myself to stop driving it.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:06 |
|
I un-stored my 135is this past weekend, and have been driving it the past few days. But I didn’t take it to work today because it’s sleeting.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:08 |
|
Seems like a mistake in weather planning patterns. File a complaint!
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:09 |
|
Lol no, no it's not. It’s waiting for an entire new chassis which is coming in April, and then it needs a few more bits before it’s road happy again.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:09 |
|
Ah, the dreaded winter 2.0. Sucks.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:10 |
|
dovetails, glue, plated on both sides. maybe a moritise
throw in some dowels for good measure.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:10 |
|
Damn cars, can’t even drive them without a chassis. :(
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:12 |
|
I don’t have a fun car in storage, but if I did this is what our spring is like:
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:14 |
|
I know right? Major PITA.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:18 |
|
Shared this picture earlier, but it looks nice though
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:21 |
|
Your spring is defective.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:25 |
|
It’s the price we pay for 300+ sunny days per year.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:25 |
|
Nope. Z is snug in the garage, topping up the battery charge. Lunch 5km run at work yesterday, shorts and short sleeves, 70 degrees. Today, snow day, shoveled the first 10 inches or so this morning while the power was out, will shovel the rest of the 16 or 18 inches of snow tonight after it stops. Probably 60 on Friday again, then more snow over the weekend again. That’ll keep going for a couple of weeks, ‘cause that’s spring in CO (and it is fun, even if it is kind of nuts).
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:31 |

Glue and clamps.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:32 |
|
Clearly, it’s karma for hogging all the sun.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:32 |
|
That’s not welding, though.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:33 |
|
It is for wood.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:36 |
|
Yup. Although, to be fair, my 944 sees year-round duty. I did get the motorcycle out, though.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:37 |
|
Yes, please do post pictures of the new 924!
![]() 03/23/2016 at 17:39 |

I planned on taking quite a few tonight while I fixed the broken brake line, but ya know, blizzard....haha. Promise I’ll get to it soon though.

My fun car is always out of storage because it is also my DD.
CALIFORNIA baby!!
![]() 03/23/2016 at 18:01 |
|
No. I haven’t bought it yet. May is the goal!
![]() 03/23/2016 at 18:23 |
|
Thanks! My second fun car never went into storage, just didn’t get driven as much during the winter.
![]() 03/23/2016 at 18:45 |

Don’t have a spare toy car, but it’s been killing me that I could have been taking my fe 350s to/from work since mid January except that I broke my foot pretty badly on Jan 7th. This year the winter has been very warm and dry, and I couldn’t stand on the pegs. And a 36" high saddle is pretty sketchy with a non weight bearing foot. Motocross boots or not. Soon though. Very soon.

My fun car gets to play all year. Helps that Tulsa pretty much had no winter to speak of this year...
